Bear Lake Beaches

Utah Beach Info

Bear Lake State Park Marina
has  a smaller beach with a few picnic tables but has a concession stand and on site rentals.

Bear Lake Fun has multiple locations around the lake. They offer concessions,  beach access and on site rentals. Visit their website for more information.

Epic Recreation  is located about a mile away from Lilac Haven. They offer guided tours, recreation rentals, campsites, and beach access ($10 fee - depends on water level).

Rendezvous Beach is located at the south end of Bear Lake. This is a fun, shallow beach that is only about 10-15 minutes from Lilac Haven. It is a little more rocky, but still a great beach for kids because of it's shallow waters. There are campsites nearby that can be reserved if you'd like  a night by the campfire or a beach side picnic.

Cisco Beach is located on the east side of Bear Lake. It is mostly rocky, but a great place for fishing and Scuba Diving.

Bear Lake Hot Springs is located at the north east corner of Bear Lake on the Idaho side. Bear Lake Hot Springs  offers camping, beach access, on site rentals, and concessions. You can usually drive down onto the beach. They also have hot mineral pools if you prefer a warm soak.

North Beach is located at the north end of Bear Lake in Idaho. It takes about 30 minutes to get there from Lilac Haven. This is our favorite beach. When the lake level is low, they allow you to drive down to the lake, but use caution because this beach is more sandy than the others. This beach is great for kids because of the shallow water. You can walk out quite a ways before the water hits waist level.

Garden City Park  is just a few minutes north of Lilac Haven  (our teenagers walk there). From the parking lot, you can walk thru the wetlands down to the large beach on a boardwalk. It is a fun little nature walk, and the best part is that it's free.  The park is a great place for family reunions. You can rent the bowery and spend the day at the park or down at the beach.

There are many campsites nearby most beaches if you want a more private picnic or want a night by the campfire.
