Garden City Fire Restrictions

Due to the extreme weather and fire restrictions all open fires and fireworks are prohibited.

If you live near or abutting wild lands (dry non-irrigated fields) we make the following recommendations.

In the event of a wild land fire, rapid evacuation may be necessary, the following steps are recommended:

1. Plan a minimum of 2 exit routes from your residence or location.

2. Make a checklist of your 10 most important possessions, including PETS and your 72 hour kit, and have them easily accessible for quickly loading in your vehicle.

3. Please evacuate quickly and as safely as possibly to allow fire personnel in to protect your property.

4. Yield to all emergency vehicles.

5. Tune to 1610AM for additional information and shelter locations. Information will also be posted on the Garden City website: www.gardencityut.us

This is a cooperative effort between the City, County and the State.

The Garden City Fish Pond is Stocked and Ready for Fishing

The fish pond at 3rd west and 600 south is stocked and ready for fishing. All state fishing licensing requirements apply. Anyone under 12 years of age won't need a fishing license but must be accompanied by someone with a valid fishing license. There is a 2 fish limit.
Absolutely no swimming in the pond and no motorized water craft are allowed on the pond. The pond is new so the banks may be muddy and slick, please be extremely careful. The only access to the fish pond is from 650 South Bear Lake Blvd.

Looking for something fun to do while visiting Bear Lake. Pickleville Playhouse is just down the road.  Enjoy the evening with dinner and a show.

One more thing that I forgot to mention.....
Lilac Haven has awesome plumbing!
It is equipped with a boiler, so the hot water will last a lot longer. We have also installed a pump to improve the water pressure.
There is a walk-in steam shower with sprayers and two shower heads upstairs.
Both showers on the main floor are walk-in and equipped with sprayers and a large shower head.
If you happen to be visiting Lilac Haven when it is cold out and you need some extra room for tables, entertaining, etc., the garage floor has radiant heat to keep it nice and toasty. The entire basement and bonus room also have radiant heat. It can be adjusted by the thermostat on the wall.

We have been busy improving the exterior of Lilac Haven.  Here are some pics of what we have accomplished  in the past few weeks.  We will be adding more sod and will be working on planting.....LILACS.

We have been very busy improving the outside of Lilac Haven.  In the last couple of weeks we have added driveways and a cement pad for additional parking space.  We are also planning on adding a sand box and basketball hoop. We hope to get the landscaping completed by the end of the month.  We are so excited to share our home with you.  Check back soon for pictures!
